Sourcing

Directory and nutrition pages are generated from named open datasets, not written by hand. Each page states its source, and the data sources page lists every dataset, its licence and how often we refresh it.

What we add

Raw datasets are not enough for a useful page. We add counts, ranges, related links and plain-language explanations that are calculated from the data itself, so statements on a page can be traced back to the list below it.

Blog posts

Guides are written to explain how the data works. Each is reviewed for accuracy before publishing, and factual claims are checked against the original source. We do not publish content only to attract search traffic.

Corrections

If you spot an error, email hello@quickrefdesk.com with the page address and, if possible, a source. We check reports and correct confirmed errors. Updated posts show an updated date.

Advertising

Ads are labelled and separate from editorial content. Advertisers cannot pay for placement in our lists or influence our data.
